A — Width. Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
B — Length. Measure from the shoulder seam near the neck down to the bottom hem.
C — Sleeve length. Measure from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the garment.
For brothers shorter in height, but with very wide arms, consider sizing up one size so the shoulders and arms fit better (so if your recommended size is medium, get a large for a looser fit).
